Questions about pricing
Do I need a card for the free month?
No. You get a free key by email, enter it in the app, and every feature is on for 30 days. Nothing is charged when the month ends.
What happens after the free month?
Your files and chats stay on your Mac and can still be read. To ask new questions, choose a plan in the app or on this page.
How does billing work?
Plans are billed monthly in US dollars and renew each month until you cancel. Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, our reseller and merchant of record, which also sends your receipt.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes, any time, from Settings → Your Plan → Manage Your Plan in the app. After cancelling, you keep your plan until the end of the month you paid for.
Do you offer refunds?
No. The free month is there so you can try every feature before you pay, and you can cancel at any time so you aren't charged again. This doesn't affect any refund right the law where you live gives you. If something is wrong with a purchase, like a double charge, write to support@citenook.com and we'll put it right. The details are in the licence agreement.
Do online AI services cost extra?
Only if you use them. Models on your Mac are free. If you add your own OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or OpenRouter key, they bill you directly for what you use.
Can I use it on more than one Mac?
Each plan is for one person on their own Macs. Enter the same key on each one.
