Enter your email. Your key is shown on screen and emailed to you.

Download and open
Download Citenook from the same page and open Citenook-1.0.2.dmg.

Drag it to Applications
Drag Citenook onto the Applications folder, then open it from there.

Your free month starts. Pick a folder and ask your first question.
Already using Citenook and need it on another Mac? Get the download the same way. Your plan's key still works; enter it in Settings → Your Plan.
What you need
- A Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) and macOS 15 or later.
- Models on your Mac run best with 16 GB of memory or more. With 8 GB, Apple Intelligence or an online AI is the better choice.
- Space for a model if you download one (a few GB), plus room for Citenook's library of your files.
Updates
Citenook checks for new versions and installs them on its own. You can turn that off in Settings → General, or check any time from the Citenook menu → Check for Updates. Every download is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple.
