Citenook

For consultants

Answer the client in the meeting, not in a follow-up

Citenook is a private Mac app that answers questions from each client's files, proposals and notes, and shows the exact sentence each answer came from. Keep every client in its own space, on your Mac.

The problem

"What did we promise in the proposal? What did their CFO say on the last call? Which numbers did we use in March?" A client asks in the meeting, and the answer is in a deck, a note or an email somewhere. You say "I'll get back to you", and spend the evening searching.

Built for client work

A brain per client

Answers never mix one client's files with another's. Group brains by client or practice to ask across them.

Ask from any app

Press ⌥ Space during a call or while writing an email, and ask without switching apps.

Writes like you

Replies and summaries in a style Citenook learns from a few of your own emails.

Confidential by default

Files stay on your Mac. With an online AI, names and numbers are hidden first, and you can preview what goes.

A setup that works

  1. 1

    One brain per client

Add the client's folder, notes and saved emails.

  2. 2

    Pin the proposal

  3. 3

    Record and add calls

Recordings are transcribed on your Mac and become searchable.

  4. 4

    Save weekly steps

"What's open this week, written as an email": save it as a workflow and run it in one click.

Questions

Can I keep clients completely separate?

Yes. Each brain only answers from its own files. Ask across several clients only when you choose to, by asking a group or all brains.

Does it work during a video call?

Yes. Press ⌥ Space in any app to ask your files in a small window. To ask about selected text, allow Citenook in Accessibility settings.

Can it read PowerPoint decks?

Yes. Decks, PDFs, Word, spreadsheets, notes and saved emails are all read on your Mac.

Will a client's files be sent to an AI company?

Not with a model on your Mac. With an online AI, only the question and the passages picked for that answer go to the service you chose, with names and numbers hidden first.
